Visit to GHR’s new offices by Minister for the Environment and Climate Change
Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Minister for the Environment and Climate Change, today visited the new offices of Green Highland Renewables at Arran House, Arran Road, Perth in connection with the project with Forestry Commission Scotland to develop small scale hydro schemes in the North West Highlands. Ms Cunningham met with the team responsible for undertaking the feasibility study of the hydro resource, together with Managing director, Alastair Riddell.
Mr. Riddell said:
"We were delighted to welcome the Minister for the Environment and Climate change to our new offices and to brief her on the current activities of the company and our plans for further expansion in the future. GHR’s part in developing the hydro resource of the Forestry Estate in the North West Highlands plays a significant contribution to the overall drive to increase renewables on national forest land."
