Mark Mathieson steps down as CEO of Green Highland Renewables

Green Highland Renewables today announces that Mark Mathieson has stepped down from the role of CEO to pursue other interests.
Duncan Whyte, Chairman of Green Highland Renewables, commented: “On behalf of the board and our investors, I would like to thank Mark for his contribution to the business over the past two years.”
Green Highland Renewables’ portfolio has quadrupled in size since the business was acquired by funds managed by Ancala Partners in April 2015. The company continues to focus on building out and growing its project pipeline alongside the operation and maintenance of its operational portfolio and third party schemes.

Ian Cartwright, Chief Operations Officer of Green Highland Renewables since 2011, will take the role of Managing Director. Stephen Hutt will continue as Chief Financial Officer and Alex Reading as Development Director.

Established in 2007, the business has completed over 40 projects to date and has a number of continuing development projects.

The business has allocated over £25 million new spend on projects so far this year.
